Organisational Health Checks

Did you know that Tamworth CVS offers voluntary and community groups FREE HEALTH CHECKS through our one to one development support?  


What is a Health Check?health


It is an assessment, which explores matters such as governing documents, trustee arrangements, policies and procedures, funding and finance, training and learning, recruitment and premises.. plus much more.


The health check is aimed at helping your organisation be more effective and successful.  By working through the health check you will be able to answer questions such as:

- Are we managing our organisation according to good practice?

- Are there gaps in the way that we manage our organisation, activities or services?

- Where do our strengths lie?

- In which areas do we need to improve?

- What are our priorities for the future?

- What are our training needs? 


After the health check we will provide you with an action plan, useful resources and ideas on what needs to be done and where to get support and advice.  Getting into the habit of regularly reviewing your organisation and its activities will help you to spot problem areas quickly and help you to keep in touch with your progress.
